Some of our students.
Children and elders have gathered under the trees with the new school furniture!
We are so proud of Wunlang's attitude, changed from just a few years ago, that all girls should go to school.
And here are students in the school!
These books have come from UNICEF. Now that Wunlang School has a storage area, it qualifies for school supplies from international organizations.
The age of the student does not indicate their level of education. Young or old, all are welcome.
We're glad to see the students working hard.
In November 2006, these were students who met under the trees and who had received, from us, their first-ever exercise books and pencils.
Students are nevertheless sharing resources.
Some students have complete school uniforms, some have partial ones, and some have none. We plan to make sure that those who need uniforms, especially those who have no other clothes suitable for school, have them.
Just nine months ago, we were agonizing how we would afford the cement to build this school.
No matter how hard a community has struggled to build a school, kids all over the world are happy when school's done for the day!
