The teachers and some of the teaching that went on in Wunlang, Aweil East County, Northern Bahr-el-Ghazal, South Sudan, January 2008, when three of the directors of Village Help for South Sudan made their visit.

wunlang > Bhakita, mother of three, teacher of the 25-member women's literacy class in Wunlang. This meets from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., after Bhakita finishes teaching at Wunlang School.

wunlang > Using the vinyl chalkcloth brought from America. It folds up into a suitcase!

wunlang > Each teacher got a copy of Dinka Stories. This book of four Dinka folk tales inspired teachers, while we were there, to write their own stories.
